Creating Blueprint Classes

Guide to creating new Blueprints.

Creation via Content Browser

Blueprints are stored in packages and can be created through the Content Browser like any other asset.

  1. In the Content Browser, click on Create Asset Button.

  2. Select Blueprint under the Create Basic Asset section from the menu that appears.

    Additional Types of Blueprints can be created from the Blueprints option under Create Advanced Asset.

  3. Choose a Parent Class for your Blueprint.

Right-click Creation

There are two other methods in which you can create a Blueprint from the Content Browser.

  1. Right-click in the Asset View (right-hand panel) of the Content Browser.

  2. Select Blueprint under the Create Basic Asset section from the menu that appears.

  3. Choose a Parent Class for your Blueprint.

Alternatively:

  1. Right-click on a folder in the Asset Tree (left-hand panel) of the Content Browser.

  2. In the menu that appears, mouse over Create Asset then select Blueprint.
