classmethod import_(file_path, package_name, config_file_path) → None

Open an existing UDatasmith file from disk and import it with the import dialogs prompt.

  • file_path (str) – UDatasmith file path to open. ie: c:/MyFolder/MyFiles.udatasmith
  • package_name (str) – of where you want the asset to be imported. ie: /Game/MyFolder1/MyFolder2 (if using the StaticMesh option), ie: /Game/MyFolder1/MyFolder2/MyAssetName (if using the Blueprint option)
  • config_file_path (str) – Optional Json config use during the import.
