Dream Squircle RTS Camera Plugin offers a flexible camera that fulfills all requirements of modern games with a topdown view.

This plugin works out of the box by placing the camera in your scene or spawning it at a Player Start. The basic functions are written in a a C++ parent class while the included blueprint pawn offers you an easier configuration and usage in your editor.

It includes Advanced Input Actions and an Input Mapping Context. If you wish to use your own Input Mapping Context, you can also add the included Input Actions to your existing one. For more details please refer to our user manual.

  •  Edge Scrolling on screen borders with the mouse

  • Zoom In and Out with the mouse wheel and the right thumbstick on gamepad
  • Follow Pawns by pressing V on keyboard (optional: match camera rotation to follow target)
