Modern Human by VR4D is a Metahuman based game ready character generator based on real scan data with an evergrowing collection of hyper realistic clothing assets.



Populate crowds, design main characters and import your custom Metahumans (medium weight) to achieve next-gen results. A procedural approach is mixed with a high level of artistic control inside the generator's data asset to achieve hundreds of variations with grounded, natural results.All characters are playable and work with UE5 animations out of the box.


This collection took many months to build and We are continuously expanding it, because we see value in offering consistent quality within a broad quantity, but we are also aware of the grievances of people for who the price of the full collection is inaccessible. For this reason we have decided to start releasing solo characters generated from our pack soon.

Developer notes:

  1. Check the documentation to get started, it is simple and straightforward. If any topics of your interest have not been covered in the documentation, send us an email or join the Discord.
  2. The textures are imported in generally high 8K/4K quality, although clamped inside the engine at 2K in order to suit mid-end graphic cards. You can reverse these imposed limits in texture settings for even better, sharper looking results.
  3. Due to UE5's new way of storing and loading assets, the assets might take a while to load and cache into your memory when you start using the generator - be patient, lags at this point are normal and frequent. After all assets are loaded, restart the editor for good practice.
  4. When migrating the assets to your own project, take a look at the project settings and DefaultEngine config to ensure compatibility.

Important/Additional Notes: RigLogic and HairStrands are set to true and enabled, in order for the product to function as intended. In the current version of Unreal Engine 5, you have to manually set HairStrands to true in the project file for the groom assets to work with your packaged builds.
