Thank you to everyone who contributed by acquiring this software, I have achieved what I wanted. This plugin is offered free of charge for now on.


Toggle Sidebars allows to hide the sidebar panels for the Unreal Engine Editor, allowing to work on the content with more comfort and space. 

All available panels in the interface can be hidden at the same time by a single mouse click or by a configurable hotkey.

テクニカルノート

Installation notes:

  •  The plugin comes with pre-build binaries ready to play compiled by the UE Development Team.
  • After the first time you install the plugin, go into Project Settings - Plugins - Toggle Sidebars and enable each window panel you want to control its visibility.


About the Hotkey:


Please note that Unreal Editor hotkeys take precedence over the plugin. If you set up a keyboard shortcut already in use by the Unreal Editor, that key will not work. For instance, F4 activates the Details window in the Level Editor, Ctrl + Space displays the system context menu, and so on. You can choose any key combination you like but first make sure it is not being used by the engine.


About Material Editors:


Can't find a way to add a hotkey to material editors without modifying the engine source code, so you have to use the toolbar button on these windows types. Any hint about this would be highly appreciated.
