The Ultraleap Hand Tracking Plugin connects your Unreal project to hand tracking data and provides tools and examples for easy development of intuitive hand interaction in VR/AR/MR.

  • Hands: Bind Ultraleap data to your own hand assets or use our optimized and pre-rigged hand models

To use this plugin you will need the following:


기술적 세부사항

Interaction Engine:

  • Physics interactions between tracked hands and virtual objects, including throwing, grabbing, single and multiple hand grasping
  • Re-usable physics and non-physics 3D buttons and sliders
  • Pawn that works inside and out of VR, with motion controller mouse/keyboard support working alongside tracked hands
  • Smooth locomotion, snap turning and teleport from motion controllers or hand attached menus.
  • Hand attachable animated menus
  • Dockable/Anchorable objects
  • Can be used to determine the correct velocity of a hand to determine how far a 3D object should move relative to the physical impact


Hands:

  • 4 ready-to-go, optimized, pre-rigged sample hand assets
  • Automatically bind hand tracking data to imported custom hand models, without writing any code


UI Input:

  • Retrofit Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) UIs so that they can be interacted with using hand tracking
  • Supports distance and tactile/close-up interaction with UMG widgets
  • Get started with hand tracking without needing to build a UI from scratch
