Ultimate Camera System is an alternative to sequencer for creating cinematic gameplay mechanics and real-time dynamic cutscenes with an emphasis on quick iteration and speed. One of its main benefits over sequencer is that you can use it anywhere in the level, in any actor class, and even with gameplay. It can also be used to animate the player camera for things like running, walking, idle transitions and whatever else you may need it for.
This is being used in my own games such as Exo-Mayhem and BoltBreak 2.
