VIDEO OVERVIEW

Are you planning to create a post-apocalyptic game? Or maybe a horror or fantastic game/scene. If the answer is yes, this asset pack is a very good start. Everything is procedurally generated/automated, from grass to creepy trees and rocks. As usual in my packs, everything is very well optimized and designed for huge open-world games/projects. The pack contains 3 example levels, one is an overview map, so you can see all the assets and the other 2 are demo levels, to see what you can achieve with the assets.

One of the demo levels has a surface area of 225 square km and a 4k resolution and as you can see in the video, it runs at pretty high frame rates (around 55-60 fps) on a medium GPU with Lumen enabled and virtual shadow maps enabled. All static meshes are nanite (grass, trees, rocks) and all materials are highly customizable. The pack also comes with a powerful and smart landscape auto-material with 8 layers to help you design high quality landscapes. Since everything is procedurally generated, you will be able to achieve similar results as the demo levels in a matter of minutes. Everything is created for speed, performance and AAA quality. All the auto-material landscape layers have 4k resolution textures.

The auto-material from this pack will adapt to any landscape you have, it doesn't matter if you import a heightmap, you sculpt the landscape with alpha brushes, or you use the classic sculpting tools from Unreal Engine 5. For very realistic results, I recommend using this pack in combination with a real-world heightmap/landscape

Attention: This product is using World Partition to keep everything optimized. When you first open the demo map, the landscape regions will not be loaded and this is why you can not see the landscape inside the editor. In order to see the landscape, you will have to go to the World Partition Tab and select all the regions after that right click on the selection and press Load Regions from Selection. You have to do this only once per project. This is how Unreal Engine works...

This product supports Lumen for versions 5.1 +. If You want to use the pack at it's full potential, I recommend using Lumen. In order to enable Lumen (if it is not already enabled) you should go to Project Settings/Engine/Rendering and make sure you have the following setup:

  1. Dynamic Global Illumination Method - LUMEN
  2. Reflection Method - LUMEN
  3. Shadow Map Method - Virtual Shadow Maps

If you like this pack, feel free to write a review and rate it. This will keep me motivated to create better and better assets. Thank you!
