可放入关卡中的对象都是 Actor。Actor是支持三维转换(如平移、旋转和缩放)的泛型类。可通过游戏进程代码(C++或蓝图)创建(生成)及销毁Actor。在C++中,AActor是所有Actor的基本类。

Actor分为数种类型,示例包括:StaticMeshActor、CameraActor和PlayerStartActor。

无论在关卡中使用何种类型的Actor——一个灯光,或静态网格物体,或粒子系统发射器,或任意其它Actor——都需要了解如何在场景中创建并编辑的一些基础知识。

这涉及到几部分操作:放置Actor、选择Actor、调整Actor位置、修改Actor。换句话说,要创建关卡,就需要把Actor放到地图中并各处摆放来创建环境,并按需要修改它们的属性。
